Exhibition: Visoinary Aponte: Art and Black Freedom
The group exhibition investigates how artists experiment with ways to mitigate the violence of the colonial archive and invite us to think about the role of art in envisioning and making social change. Starting point for the exhibition was José Antonio Aponte’s lost ‘Book of Paintings’. The exhibition is curated by Edouard Duval Carrié and María Magdalena Campos-Pons.
