Ways of Working in the Karayib

Using the idea of the exhibition as a tool for connections, a series of meetings between the artists in the exhibition and the curators will be made public. The conversations will start with their ways of working and revolve around the axes of the exhibition, encompassing resistance, autonomy, time, and the Caribbean gaze. The intention is to promote spaces where reflection on different practices and an introduction to all active participants of the show takes place–inviting the public to investigate the various ways of working of the invited artists. The result of each cycle of conversations will be collected in texts and articles, acting as a “memory” of the meetings, which will be published online.
